Greater NewYork Dental Meeting

The Commercial Section of the American Embassy in Kenya is pleased to announce to you that it is recruiting a Kenyan delegation to participate at an accredited Department of Commerce one-stop dental show - The 2008 Greater New York Dental Meeting - http://www.gnydm.com

Showcasing the latest technological advances in the art and science of dentistry, this 84th gathering is one of the premier Dental Meetings in the world, featuring an array of educational programs, unmatched for breadth and scope of subjects as well as technical exhibits that demonstrate all the innovations in dental technology as well as services. GNYDM is viewed as the crown jewel of Dental Meetings. Last year, a banner year, brought together 55,687 attendees including 4,115 international attendees representing 113 countries.

With over 500 exhibiting companies and more than 1500 booth at this year's event, the GNYDM Exhibition will take place at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York, NY between November 30 - December 3, 2008. Running concurrently and parallel to the exhibits, education programs featuring 300 renowned clinicians from around the world will give presentations covering the latest scientific advances in the world of dentistry and healthcare. The Commercial Section of the American Embassy invites your participation at this event. Additionally, please feel free to share this information with any other parties that you feel might be interested in this event. Participation costs per delegate that will cover the cost of return airfare (Nairobi-New York-Nairobi), 5 nights (November 29, 30, December 1, 2 and 3) hotel accommodation (on bed & breakfast basis), airport transfer and internal administrative costs will be approximately $3465 (subject to how fast airline and hotel reservations for the delegation are confirmed). Those interested in shorter stays can either opt for the 4-nights package (November 29, 30, December 1 and 2) at $3190 or the 3 nights package (November 29, 30 and December 1) at $2915.

This official Embassy-led delegation will depart Nairobi for New York, NY on Friday, November 28, 2008. Consequently, if you are interested in participating on this delegation, please perform IMMEDIATELY the next THREE simple steps:

PRE-REGISTER as a participant using our on-line registration form below. Please note that registration will officially close on October 27, 2008 to enable us finalize travel and hotel logistics for the delegation in order to keep within the projected participation costs.

BOOK a visa interview (if you require a visa) for a date not beyond October 27, 2008 using our on-line system available at: http://216.147.140.2/GeneralNIV/default.asp (Once you have made a visa interview appointment, IMMEDIATELY inform Delegation Leader Humphrey Lilech at Humphrey.Lilech@mail.doc.gov of your interview date to enable us advise the Visa/Consular section that we have registered you as a delegate for this event).

FORWARD a deposit of $950 within ONE WEEK of our receipt of your pre-registration in (1) above (Please note that we will NOT ADVISE the Visa/Consular section as indicated in No. (2) above if you have not paid the deposit).

(i) In the form of cash in USD (for Kenyan delegates only)

(ii) Credit card (in this case, please contact Humphrey Lilech using contact information below to convey your credit card information - names as they appear on the credit card and expiry date on the card); or

(iii) An international bankers check payable at any bank in the United States and made out in the favor of "International Trade Administration."  (hand-deliver or courier by DHL/FEDEX to Humphrey Lilech using the contact information below)

Outstanding balances MUST be paid by no later than MONDAY, NOVEMBER 3, 2008.

Please note that the Commercial Section CANNOT guarantee visa issuance.
