The Fall Edition of The Transportation Link is Now Available

The US DOT/OSDBU is pleased to make the Fall 2008 edition of The Transportation Link available for download. In this issue we highlight changes that the Small Business Administration (SBA) is making to the HUBZone Small Business Program to improve management and reduce fraud. We also report on the addition of the last Small Business Transportation Resource Center in the Northeast Region, making the program available nationwide.

Other articles include a story highlighting the fact that DOT is on track to achieve a Green Rating on the SBA’s Small Business Procurement Scorecard for FY 2008 and a report on a recent award received by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) for outstanding support of the Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Program from the Department of Veterans Affairs. In addition we have our regular features of Follow the Money and the Calendar of Events and introduce the Procurement Assistance Page which offers informative articles related directly to contracting with the Federal government.
