AIAA — Publishers Since 1930

Five Reasons to Publish With AIAA

1. Mission-critical—AIAA’s mission is to advance the arts, sciences, and technology of aeronautics and astronautics, and to promote the professionalism of those engaged in these pursuits.

2. Time-tested—Your contributions will survive the test of time. The AIAA Electronic Library continues to archive past and present publications. For the book program, AIAA titles are rarely declared out of print and AIAA continues to market titles long after commercial publishers would have relegated the title to the backlist. With new available technology, we are bringing many titles back into circulation.

3. Respected— The AIAA name is a name that individuals and institutions alike know and trust. In a recent survey, participants ranked the quality of AIAA published books in the top three among all publishers. AIAA members consistently rank their subscription to AIAA technical journals the #1 most valuable benefit of membership. When you publish with AIAA, you know that your name is connected with the most prestigious publications in the aerospace field.

4. Worldwide exposure—When you publish with AIAA, its impact is felt around the world. AIAA publications reach almost every corner of the Earth with distribution in more than 80 countries. AIAA’s distribution network includes publishing partnerships with The Aerospace Press, Butterworth-Heinemann, Professional Engineering Publishing, Springer, Pen and Sword Aviation, Amazon.com, and a worldwide network of distributors, ensuring that your publication is actively promoted and distributed throughout the world.

5. Professional staff support—Our publications editorial, marketing, sales, and customer service team has about 300 years of combined publishing experience. They will support you through the entire publishing process –from the concept, idea, or manuscript to editing, production, marketing, and fulfillment. Contact us today.
