Monday, June 6, 2005 Dear Vendors: The Census Acquisition Team and the Program Managers want to thank you for the great support received in response to our first two COMMITS NexGen solicitations! The First Phase of each solicitation has been finalized and we are currently in the Second Phases. We expect to award these task orders by the end of this month. Your cooperation has been instrumental in keeping these acquisitions on schedule and we appreciate that. Continuing with the good work, we have updated our projected competition schedule. We will be releasing three (3) Requests for Solution (RFS) during the month of June. For these three solicitations, we plan on continuing our sixty (60)-days source selection cycle, with a projected award date during mid-August. We also take this opportunity to inform you that all who submitted responses to Phase I of both current solicitations (T1-0001 and T3-0001) will be receiving via e-mail an Evaluation Form of the Acquisition Process. Through this evaluation, you will have the opportunity to comment on your experiences during the process to help us improve our services for future solicitations. We will very much appreciate all the insights you provide us.
