After the publication of all industry, area, and subject reports for each sector, a single volume will be published that summarizes the most widely used statistics about that sector from all of the previously issued reports. These summary reports will be among very few actually issued in print, but most will not be published until 2001.
Additional printed summary reports will consolidate product data and materials consumed by kind for the manufacturing and mining sectors.
Considerably earlier, in late 1999 or early 2000, U.S. summary reports without subject report components will be issued in electronic formats as the last unit of issue of the Geographic Area Series for all sectors except manufacturing and mining.
