Census Bureau Geographic Programs

2010 Census Local Update of Census Addresses (LUCA)  new
The Local Update of Census Addresses program, also known as LUCA, is a decennial census geographic partnership program that will allow the Census Bureau to benefit from local knowledge in developing its Master Address File (MAF) for the 2010 Census. Tribal, state, and local governments can contribute to a more complete and accurate census for their community by reviewing and commenting on the list of housing unit and group quarters addresses that the Census Bureau will use to deliver questionnaires within their community.

Boundary and Annexation Survey (BAS)
Determining the inventory of legally defined entities and the correct names, legal descriptions and boundaries of counties and equivalent areas, minor civil divisions, incorporated places, American Indian reservations and American Indian off-reservation trust lands.

2010 Census Participant Statistical Areas Program (PSAP)  new
Includes block groups, census tracts, census county divisions, and census designated places

2010 Census Tribal Statistical Areas Program (TSAP)  new
Includes tribal census tracts, tribal block groups, census designated places (CDPs), Oklahoma tribal statistical areas (OTSAs), Alaska Native village statistical areas (ANVSAs), tribal designated statistical areas (TDSAs), state designated tribal statistical areas (SDTSAs), and tribal subdivisions for the 2010 Census

2007-2008 School District Review Program
The scope of the 2007-2008 School District Review Program is for state officials to review the Census Bureau's 2005-2006 school district information and to provide the Census Bureau with updates and corrections.
