Group Quarters Population by Race and Hispanic Origin: 2000 (PHC-T-7)


These statistical tables divide the group quarters population into residents of institutionalized facilities and residents of noninstitutionalized facilities and subdivide them by sex and four age groups. The tables show these data for

These data were released because of their relevance to the ongoing analysis of the accuracy and coverage of Census 2000. More extensive data on age structure and types of group quarters, along with data on other short-form questionnaire items, such as households, families, household relationship, housing occupancy and housing tenure (whether the householder owns or rents) will be released later this year.
