AHRQ National Advisory Council To Meet July 20

The National Advisory Council for Healthcare Research and Quality will meet on Friday, July 20. The Council provides advice to the Secretary of Health and Human Services and the Director of the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality on matters related to AHRQ.

The meeting, which is open to the public, will begin with an update on the status of the Agency's current research, programs, and initiatives. The Council will discuss updates for AHRQ's National Healthcare Quality Report and National Healthcare Disparities Report, hold a preliminary discussion on quality measurement, and discuss leveraging private-sector innovation for safety and quality.
