What are you worth?
Volunteers are an invaluable resource for the Department of Veterans Affairs. It is impossible to calculate the amount of caring and sharing that VAVS volunteers provide to veteran patients. VAVS volunteers are a priceless asset to the Nation's veterans and to the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Dole VAMC Celebrates 75th Anniversary
On November 16, 1933, Wichita Veterans Administration Hospital admitted its first patient at the newly-constructed facility. By the end of December 1933, the VA’s latest medical and surgical hospital, with its 150 beds, was at full capacity. Seventy-five years later in 2008, the Robert J. Dole VA Medical and Regional Office Center observed this long and proud history of providing medical care and support services, by commemorating its 75th Jubilee.
