President's Export Council Subcommittees

Technology and Competitiveness Will potentially address issues such as standards, tariff and non-tariff barriers, and sanctions, in addition to Foreign Sales Corporations, extra-territorial income exclusion, the value of the dollar, and other tax and monetary matters.
Trade Promotion and Negotiations Will potentially focus on activities/events related to trade education, such as Secretarial initiatives, as well as the Virtual Trade Mission. In addition, the subcommittee would direct its attention to multinational organizations (e.g., World Trade Organization), bilateral and multinational free trade agreements, and issues such as intellectual property rights, market access, transparency, and national treatment.
Services Will potentially concentrate on issues relevant to services and service providers in sectors such as tourism, transportation, entertainment, financial, business, professional and technical services, etc.
Corporate Stewardship Will potentially attend to issues of philanthropy and other forms of corporate benevolence. The subcommittee would undertake a bench marking study and prepare a "best practices" compendium which would showcase what "good deeds" are done by U.S. businesses both domestically and internationally.

Export Administration (PECSEA)

The PECSEA is separately chartered and administered by the Bureau of Industry and Security at the Department of Commerce.
