The U.S. Department of Commerce’s Travel & Tourism Team has created the Travel and Tourism e-Market Express to provide the U.S. travel and tourism industry with the latest tourism market research, traveler statistics, and event information for developing international business. Through the Travel & Tourism e-Market Express, U.S. travel professionals can request the most current international market research, trade opportunities and trade event information submitted by officers in U.S. Embassies and Consulates around the world. In addition to the U.S. Commercial Service information, the latest reports and statistical information from Office of Travel and Tourism Industries are listed. All of this information is made available to U.S. firms to assist them with their international business development and marketing efforts. Travel & Tourism Team members are located in several offices throughout the U.S. and the world U.S. and international team members work together to provide export counseling to U.S. businesses and destinations interested in entering or increasing their presence in international markets. Services include, but are not limited to, one-to-one counseling, market research, statistics, partner identification (i.e. outbound tour operators, travel agents, public relations firms, etc.) and assistance with international marketing efforts within the travel industry.
