Newport Beach, California

Our 3rd annual Export Control Forum will be held on March 17, 2008 in Newport Beach, CA. As in years past, this program will feature key management, policy, legal, and licensing specialists from the Bureau of Industry and Security. We will also have representatives from the Bureau of the Census and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. Together, these speakers will provide updates on significant developments in the export control field. The Forum will conclude with a gala reception, offering you the opportunity to mingle and discuss issues of concern with the presenters and other participants.

This year we will conduct two Special Topics seminars on the day following the Forum, giving us the opportunity to cover selected topics in greater depth. One will be dedicated to Technology Licensing issues; the other will cover Developing and Implementing an Export Management System. These half day programs will run concurrently.

For those of you who have requested an Update-like offering on the west coast, this is it! The Export Control Forum will cover the latest developments in export controls today; the half day offerings to follow will provide detailed information on subjects you have requested.

We hope this new format provides an effective use of your time. Please act quickly as space is limited.
