The SABIT Fruit and Vegetable Processing and Packaging Program is designed to train 18 mid- to senior-level industry specialists from Central Asia, Western Eurasia, and the Caucasus. The program will introduce the delegation to American trends, processes, and equipment in the operations of fruit and vegetable processing and packaging, and will assist them in establishing contacts with potential partners.
Countries from this region produce a wide variety of fresh fruit and vegetables, but lack the resources and equipment to process and extend the shelf life of these products. Handling methods and technologies in drying, freezing, juice and paste processing, canning, glass-jar packing, and additives are all topics of interest. Manufacturers of filling, labeling and packaging equipment are also needed to demonstrate their processes and their equipment.
This program offers a unique opportunity for American firms to promote their products and services to decision makers seeking innovative technology solutions, investment opportunities, and future business contacts.
SABIT is currently seeking large and small companies in the industry to host this delegation at their facilities for up to one day. There is no charge associated with participation. |
