The Department of Homeland Security-Private Sector Office (DHS-PSO) commissioned a pilot study to evaluate airport departure gate-surveying methodologies. The goal of this evaluation is provide DHS, OTTI, and other stakeholders with information on possible methodological and operational enhancements to the Survey of International Air Travelers process that could contribute to a higher level of data quality and usability. Two teams were selected to implement test surveys, and provide evaluations of the methodologies utilized, for Dallas-Ft. Worth (DFW) and Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD), as follows: |
