HELENA – October 29, 2008 – Montana Attorney General Mike McGrath reacted to the news that
the U.S. Department of Justice will not challenge the merger of Delta and Northwest Airlines.
McGrath: Attorneys General Sue to Block Merger of
Beef Processors JBS, National
HELENA – October 20, 2008 – Attorney General Mike McGrath said that Montana has joined
12 states and the U.S. Department of Justice in a suit to block the merger of JBS Beef, SA, and National
Beef Packing Co. JBS and National are the third and fourth largest beef processors in the United States,
respectively.
State Solicits Comments on Draft Upper Clark Fork
Restoration Work Plan
HELENA – September 29, 2008 – The state is seeking public comment on draft funding recommendations
for projects designed to restore the Upper Clark Fork River Basin, Natural Resource Damage Program
specialist Kathleen Coleman said today.
