Bush Administration Official Honors Erie, PA-- Congressman Phil English and Daniel J. Bloom, Director of the Trade Advocacy Center of the U.S. Commercial Service today presented the Commerce Department's Export Achievement Certificate to Eriez Magnetics of Erie, Pa. The award recognizes companies and organizations that have used the export services of the U.S. Commercial Service to make their first export sale or enter new foreign markets. "Most new jobs in America are created by small businesses," Bloom said. "Small and medium-sized companies like Eriez Magnetics comprise almost 97 percent of U.S. exporters. The Bush Administration will continue to work hard to help U.S. companies increase their exports and generate high-paying jobs for the working people of Pennsylvania." Established in 1942, Eriez Magnetics has grown to be an industry leader
in the development and production of magnetic, vibratory, and metal detection
applications. The company serves grain processors to customers that span
an impressive range of industries from food processing and mining to pharmaceutical
and chemicals. For more information on the U.S. Commercial Service, please visit www.export.gov
