The Census Bureau works with state-level organizations in the process of producing population estimates and in making data broadly available to the public.
State FSCPE agencies, designated by their respective governors, work in cooperation with the Population Estimates Branch to produce subnational population estimates.
The State Data Center (SDC) Program is a cooperative program between the states and the Census Bureau that makes data available locally to the public through a network of state agencies, universities, libraries, and regional and local governments.
