P.L. 106-78, Sec. 766. The Federal facility located in Riverside, California, and known as the "U.S. Salinity Laboratory", shall be known and designated as the "George E. Brown, Jr., Salinity Laboratory": Provided, That any reference in any law, map, regulation, document, paper, or other record of the United States to such Federal facility shall be deemed to be a reference to the "George E. Brown, Jr., Salinity Laboratory." |

- Reelected to the 89th, 90th, and 91st Congresses; unsuccessfully sought election to U.S. Senate in 1970
