Under Secretary Mancuso Visits the Republic of Korea

Under Secretary Mancuso traveled to Seoul, Korea on December 17-18 to discuss high technology and strategic trade issues with senior government officials and industry representatives.

Under Secretary Mancuso held talks on secure bilateral high technology trade with his counterparts at the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and the Ministry of National Defense.

The Under Secretary also addressed industry representatives at a meeting of the American Chamber of Commerce of Korea and met with senior representatives from the Korea Security Trade Institute.

His visit is part of a continuing BIS effort to expanding secure bilateral high technology trade by elevating and accelerating bilateral engagement with key foreign markets.
