Pittsburgh Government, Academic and Business Leaders

On November 20, Under Secretary of Commerce Mario Mancuso visited local government officials and leaders from the academic and business communities in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to discuss BIS’s role in enhancing U.S. economic competitiveness and national security.

As part of his industry outreach, Under Secretary Mancuso delivered remarks at a roundtable with local CEOs hosted by the Pittsburgh Technology Council, and also met with the Allegheny County Department of Economic Development, the Pittsburgh Urban Redevelopment Authority and the Greater Pittsburgh Chamber of Commerce.

Under Secretary Mancuso also met with University of Pittsburgh Chancellor Mark Nordenberg and visited the Swanson Center for Product Innovation and the Global Supply and Innovation Center at the University of Pittsburgh.
