Each year the Population Estimates Program publishes population estimates for all metropolitan and micropolitan statistical areas. The data include demographic components of change (births, deaths, and migration) for metropolitan and micropolitan statistical areas. The reference date for these estimates is July 1.

Note: A processing error occurred in the July 1, 2007 Puerto Rico Commonwealth and Municipio Population Estimates, affecting the total population and the number of persons 85 years old and over. As a result, the Population Estimates Branch replaced the Vintage 2007 Puerto Rico Commonwealth and Municipio Population Estimates previously released.
