2nd Quarter 2008
- Provides quarterly summary data on the assets, revenue, and expenditures of the largest public employee retirement systems. The information contained in this survey is the most current data about investment decisions by public employee retirement systems, one of the largest institutional investors in the U.S. financial market.
- Provides detailed data files and summary information on the number of government civilian employees and their gross payrolls for a one month period. Data are for the month of March, 2007. The data files are available for download in a text format. The summary tables are available as spreadsheets or as viewable text files.
- Build a customized data table using data from the Census of Government Employment for 1997, 2002 and 2007 by selecting the years, variables, level of government, geographic area and government function of interest. These statistics contain information on the number of employees and gross payrolls for state and local governments. The customized data table is available as a viewable table, excel file or PDF document.
