Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Government (DHHIG) will host the 2008 DHHIG Employment and Technology Forum on May 1 at the U.S. Department of Transportation in Washington, D.C. This forum is targeted toward current and future Federal employees. The theme for this year is "Bridging the Gap---Using Innovative Technology."
This training session qualifies as training in compliance with 5 U.S.C. Chapter 41. The training session will consist of subject matter experts from EEOC and OPM and other entities providing presentations in the area of reasonable accommodation, career management, and technology advancements. Also, the seminar will provide a series of presentations specially designed for managers and supervisors and other people with an interest in working effectively with current and future deaf and hard of hearing employees.
