Governmental Cooperators of the USGS
The USGS has joint-funding arrangements with local, State, and Federal governmental cooperators to accomplish mutual goals in water resources in
Kansas. In fact, more than half of the funds that support USGS water operations in Kansas are provided by these cooperators and only about 40% are
provided by USGS appropriations.
