Census Bureau Hires Managers for New Dress Rehearsal Offices

FEBRUARY 21 – The U.S. Census Bureau announced that it has hired the management staff for a Local Census Office in Fayetteville, N.C., and in Stockton, Calif. The offices will open in the spring and will be the hub of local census activity for the two 2008 Census Dress Rehearsal sites.

The 12 managers are residents of the dress rehearsal sites, and their backgrounds include years of professional, military and leadership experience. The hiring of the managers marks the first wave of nearly 5,000 hires for the dress rehearsal.
