The Census Bureau is seeking nominations for its Race and Ethnic Advisory Committees (REAC)

FEBRUARY 8 – The Census Bureau is seeking nominations for its Race and Ethnic Advisory Committees (REAC), which provide a continuing channel of communication between the Census Bureau and race and ethnic communities.

Nominations are needed for the following advisory committees: African American, American Indian and Alaska Native, Asian, and Native Hawaiian and Other Pacific Islander.

Please submit nominations by Feb. 22, 2007. See Federal Register Notices for more information.

The Census Bureau’s advisory committees provide vital input on behalf of their communities regarding many Census Bureau programs, including the 2010 Census planning process.
