Council Description
The Fulton Citizens Corps is a sub-group of the Central Missouri Assistance Group (CMAG). CMAG is an organization of nationally trained community crisis volunteers dedicated to provideing crisis response to thirteen counties in central Missouri. As CMAG was an established organiztion working in the area of crisis response, the Fulton Citizens Corps formed under CMAG to focus strictly on crisis events that occur in the City of Fulton. Additionally, since Callaway County is host to a nuclear power plant (fourteen miles from Fulton), services may expand beyond the scope of Fulton to include surrounding communities in Callaway County.
