Council Description
The Council is transparently the same membership as the all-hazards Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC), which is also the Critical Infrastructure Protection Forum; the Urban Area Working Group; the Interoperable Communications Working Group. The Board of County Commissioners wanted to build on the 21-year track record established by the LEPC and not set up competing interest groups that would dilute the synergy already in place.
