Carmen Kelly, Pharm.D.
Carmen Kelly, Pharm.D., obtained her Doctorate of Pharmacy from Howard University School of Pharmacy, and her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Bowie State University. Previously, Dr. Kelly worked as a pharmacy analyst in the pharmacy benefits management department of the Union Labor Life Insurance Company in Washington, DC. She also worked as a Consultant Pharmacist with Clinical Pharmacy Associates.
Currently, she is a member of the Center for Outcomes and Evidence's Pharmaceutical Outcomes Portfolio, serving as a project officer for pharmacy related grants, and task order officer for evidence-based practice pharmacy related projects.
Dr. Kelly's interests include focusing on the pharmacist's role in examining health care quality and effectiveness, patient outcomes, access to care, and other new technologies related to pharmacy services.
