TRAINING MATERIALS: Please Note: Computer lab facilities may be subject to change. Site Specifics: The Graduate School is located in the Capital Gallery building, which is conveniently located with access to the Metrorail and one block from the Washington Mall and the Smithsonian's Air & Space Museum as well as the new National Museum of American Indians. This area is also easily accessible by car from several major routes. For a link to the D.C. metro subway system, see: http://www.wmata.com/. The sessions will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. and end at 4:30 p.m. each day. Each user will be stationed at a computer with Internet access. Directions to the Capital Gallery:
Parking: Parking is available in the Graduate School, USDA building. The entrance to the garage is on 6th Street at the intersection of 6th and C streets. The cost is $14 per day. Parking is also available across the street in the Holiday Inn garage, at 550 C. Street, SW. The cost is $18 per day.
Transportation Information:
INCLEMENT WEATHER: In the case of inclement weather, please visit http://opm.gov/status/index.aspx or call (202) 606-1900 for information about federal government closings or delays. If the federal government is closed, then the workshop is cancelled for that day only and will resume on the next day the federal government is open. If there is a delay, we ask that participants get an early start and report to the workshop at the regularly scheduled time. |
