2007 American Community Survey (ACS) Data Available on AFF

• Released August 26, 2008: The 2007 income, earnings, and poverty estimates.
• Released September 23, 2008: The 2007 social, economic and housing characteristics, demographic and housing estimates, group quarters, selected population profiles/tables, and Public use Microdata Samples (PUMS) data.
• Coming December 9, 2008: The 2005-2007 ACS 3-year estimates, including updates to the Fact Sheet and People and Housing pages. The 2007 Puerto Rico Community Survey data in Spanish.

ACS Data Sets Prior to 2005 Archived on FTP Site

American Community Survey data from 1996 to 2004 are now available for download from the FTP site.

From the American Community Survey tab on the Data Sets page:

• Click on the Download 1996-2004 data via FTP link.
• You will see a folder for each year 1996-2004.
• Click on the folder for the data year and click on "OK" to register as "Anonymous" if you get an FTP Log On box asking for registration.
• Some files may be too large to complete the download in a single Excel file, and may have to be downloaded in two parts. Please use a text file format such as .csv or .txt.
• The metadata files (look for META in the file name) contain information that identifies the content of the data cells in the tables.
