Automated Export System (AES) Compliance Seminar in San Juan, PR

CEVA Logistics is sponsoring an Automated Export System (AES) Compliance
Seminar and Workshop in San Juan, Puerto Rico October 14 & 15, 2008.
The U.S. Census Bureau, and port officers from U.S. Customs and Border
Protection will guide you through the FTR requirements and explain how
to smoothly get your shipments through customs by complying with the FTR.
The Census Bureau experts will discuss the difference between the FTR and
the obsolete Foreign Trade Stastitics Regulations, the mandatory filing
of shipments through the Automated Export System, and how to classify
your commodities. The CBP experts will cover port requirements and their
efforts against terrorism and international narcotics trafficking.
Participants will receive a certificate for attending the seminar.
On the second day, there will be an AESPcLink Workshop where participants
can receive certification to file via the FREE AESPcLink application! Come
learn how to successfully file your export information in this hands-on PC
training workshop. All training is provided by the U.S. Department of Commerce/
U.S. Census Bureau/Foreign Trade Division in collaboration with CEVA Logistics.
