 2008 Schedule B and HTS Numbers Now Available for Download

 ***Please do not report any 2008 numbers prior to January 1, 2008.***
         ***They will reject in AES prior to this date.***

 The 2008 Schedule B and Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) tables are 
         scheduled to be updated in the AES on January 1, 2008. The files are 
         available now for download, however, THEY ARE NOT VALID IN AES UNTIL
         January 1, 2008.

 The files are available for download from the Census website at
         http://www.census.gov/foreign-trade/aes/documentlibrary/index.html#concordance

 The effective date of the 2008 numbers is January 1, 2008. 
         There will be another broadcast announcing the 2008 Schedule B and HTS 
         numbers once they are updated in the AES.  This broadcast will also 
         include further information regarding grace periods related to 2007 
         numbers and any other pertinent information. 

 ***Please do not report any 2008 numbers prior to the official announcement.
           
         Currently, the AESDirect program remains consistent with the AES mainframe 
         and only 2007 Schedule B and HTS numbers are available for reporting.
