               2007 Schedule B and HTS Numbers Have Been Updated in the AES 
 **********************************************************************

Effective immediately, the Schedule B and Harmonized Tariff Schedule 
(HTS) tables in the AES have been updated to accept the changes to 
the 2007 codes.  AES will accept both the 2006 and the new  2007 codes 
through March 4, 2007. Beginning March 5, 2007, only the  codes listed 
in the 2007 Schedule B or HTS table will be accepted.  Reporting a 2006
code after March 4, 2007 will result in a fatal error. 
The AESDirect program will also accept the outdated 2006 codes through 
March 4, 2007 as well.
All AESPcLink users must update their AESDirect code tables to reflect 
the 2007 changes in the Schedule B and HTS.  Web users of AESDirect 
who file via the website at www.aesdirect.gov will have their code 
tables updated via the program automatically.
