Minority- & Women- Owned Business Enterprises--1992

The Surveys of Minority-Owned Business Enterprises and Women-Owned Businesses provide economic data on businesses owned by women; Blacks; Hispanics; Asians and Pacific Islanders, American Indians, and Alaska Natives. The surveys are based on firms which file tax forms for individual proprietorships, partnerships, or subchapter S corporations with receipts of at least $500. "C" corporations, those other than subchapter S corporations, are excluded except for limited data for women-owned businesses. The published data cover number of firms, gross receipts, number of paid employees, and annual payroll. The data are presented by geographic area, industry, size of firm, and legal form of organization.

CD-ROM: CD-ROM_1i contains Hispanic, and remaining minority-owned and summary (incl. gender) data. CD-ROM_1i is cumulative and contains all data from CD-ROM_1h which contained Women, Black and All firms data. These CD`s are part of the 1992 Economic Censuses CD-ROM series.
