The Federal Highway Administration in conjunction with the Santa Fe National Forest and New Mexico Department of Transportation awarded a $5,632,635.00 construction project to Mountain States Constructors, Inc. on 9/21/07. The project, 1.930 km (1.2 miles) of new location roadway west of the community of Seven Springs, includes grading, drainage, walls, aggregate base, and asphalt pavement.
