A Poem in Marble, A Place on the Map: Byron R. White U.S. Courthouse, Denver, COA Poem in Marble, a Place on the Map is a documentary highlighting the Neoclassical style Byron R. White U.S. Courthouse. The 20-minute film chronicles the building's history beginning in the early 1900s through its Presidential Design Award-winning renovation 90 years later. The 1916 Byron R. White U.S. Courthouse in Denver, Colorado, is one of more than 200 legacy buildings under GSA's stewardship. The film is part of GSA’s efforts to support the Executive Order 13287, "Preserve America", which encourages Americans to explore and enjoy our nation’s heritage. It was produced for the Center for Historic Buildings, Office of the Chief Architect by the Video and Broadcasting Team, Office of Citizen Services and Communications.
