The project is proposing to improve conditions for California Forest Highway (PFH) 123, Washington Road. The design efforts include 5.29 miles of Washington Rd from the intersection with California State Route (SR) 20 proceeding northerly to the Town of Washington, ending at the town limits. Work includes the replacement of the Washington Creek concrete box culvert, a reconstruction/realignment segment of approximately 1,500 ft of roadway, and spot improvements including drainage.
