RESPONSIBILITIES
Student's Supervisor:
- Acknowledge acceptance of, and five year commitment to, selected
student.
- Welcome student (telephone call followed by letter), discuss ARS'
mission and activities.
- Assign duties and work related to the student's major or course of
study.
- Mentor (or assign a mentor to) student.
- Provide feedback to student on his/her performance based on established
performance standards.
- Initiate promotion actions when applicable and in a timely manner.
- Keep LAO, Unit Secretary and HRD Scholars Program Coordinator informed of any questions, concerns, or problems.
