2. I believe that some people could become very dependent on these audible signals; and when the signal doesn't work they may have forgotten some of their skills therefore putting them in danger.
There are places where vibrotactile signals could
be used such as intersections where traffic patterns are not steady. I believe
that detectable warnings are necessary only when curbs are flat and hard to
distinguish from the street. I hope that you consider these points when making
your decision.
