Job openings by industry, June 2007In June, the job openings rate for the nation as a whole increased slightly to 3.0 percent after remaining steady at 2.9 percent for the prior 4 months. The seasonally adjusted job openings rate was highest in June in professional and business services—4.3 percent. Accommodation and food services (part of leisure and hospitality) had a job openings rate of 4.0 percent. These data come from the Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey.
