EPA Acquisition Provisions for Green Meetings and Conferences
EPA revised its acquisition regulations to establish a policy and procedures for acquiring environmentally preferable meeting and conference services. The policy specifies that environmentally preferable meeting and conference services must be purchased to the greatest extent practicable. To implement this policy, EPA amended its acquisition regulations to add a solicitation provision asking offerors to provide information about the environmentally preferable features and practices the contractor offers and providing a list of 14 environmentally preferable measures and practices.
