The Federal Long Term Care Insurance Program (FLTCIP)

The Federal Long Term Care Insurance Program is the largest group long term care insurance program in the nation.  It provides federal employees and annuitants, active and retired members of the uniformed services, and their qualified relatives the opportunity to apply for coverage at group rates.

YOU CAN APPLY AT ANY TIME! If you are in an eligible group, you can apply for coverage under the FLTCIP any time. You do not have to wait until the next Open Season.

You can speak to a certified long term care insurance specialist by calling 1-800-582-3337, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 6 pm, Eastern Standard Time (closed Saturdays, Sundays and Federal holidays).
