"On the Wings of Cartography"

Your flight is scheduled for Nov. 12, departing from Durham, New Hampshire, where the Univ. of New Hampshire will host its Tenth Anniversary GIS Day Cartographic Exhibition. Eureka Springs High School Has Big Plans

The EAST Lab at Eureka Springs High School in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, has a full day of events planned for this year. Their events will include GPS and GIS demonstrations, a map gallery, mapping games, videos, and project presentations. The entire community and all the local schools are invited. Get details ».

Poland Plans Full Day of Activities

Alaska to Host Elementary Students

The National Park Service in Anchorage, Alaska, is organizing activities for an audience of elementary age students on Fri., Nov. 21. Teachers are invited to bring their 2nd through 6th graders for a two-hour interactive program. Pre-registration is required. Visit their Web site for more information.

Houston, Texas, to Hold 6th Event

The Houston-Galveston Area Council will host demonstrations and a map gallery. Thurs., Nov. 20 is Professionals Day while Fri., Nov. 21 is Students' Day. Get details ».

Bahamas "Advancing GIS One Island at a Time"

The Bahamas National Geographic Information Systems Centre will host its 2nd GIS Conference Nov. 19-21 in Nassau. In addition to GIS-related presentations, a map gallery, and exhibits, a GIS competition will take place between three schools with winners being announced at the conference. Get details ».
