Contribute to FAR-B through CFC

The Friends of Agricultural Research-Beltsville, Inc. (FAR-B) has participated in the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) of the National Capital Area since the fall of 2000.

The designation number for FAR-B is "40122". Each September, federal employees can earmark all or part of their CFC contributions to FAR-B by using the "40122" designation code when completing their pledge cards.

These contributions will go to support FAR-B activities to:
  • Disseminate information regarding research accomplishments and expertise of BARC scientists
  • Support major symposia, field days, summer interns, lab reviews and professional travel
  • Sponsor BARC Poster Day and scientific seminars
  • Provide funds to upgrade research equipment and facilities
  • Present information and expert testimony to the U.S. Congress to support adequate funding for high-priority research

FAR-B is pleased to be part of the CFC and encourages all USDA employees in and around Beltsville to take advantage of this simple, direct method of supporting BARC's mission and goals.
