DRI scientist Glenn Berger has been invited to participate in an international workshop in Ethiopia to further explore the link between past climate changes and the evolution of human ancestors.

National Security Technologies, LLC (NSTec) awarded a $10,000 grant to support a Desert Research Institute (DRI) GreenPower installation at the Jim Bridger Middle School Academy of Math, Science and Technology in North Las Vegas, Nevada reported by the Las Vegas Sun.

10/23/08: US Department of Energy announces $7 million in funding for climate research field studies
A cloud is a cloud is a cloud -- or is it? The Storm Peak Lab Cloud Property Validation Experiment will study liquid and mixed-phase clouds at DRI’s Storm Peak Laboratory near Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
