2008 Final Rule
The Corporation has issued a final rule for the AmeriCorps program that amends and clarifies provisions for member evaluations, performance measurement, use of national service insignia, and other requirements. The final rule also spells out the Corporation’s prohibition on making false or misleading statements.
2005 AmeriCorps Rulemaking
After extensive public input and a unanimous vote of the board of directors, the Corporation issued a new AmeriCorps rule on July 8, 2005. The new rule will make AmeriCorps stronger, more effective, and more competitive, while also ensuring greater leveraging of Federal dollars and recognizing the diverse nature of our grantees.
