Media members are asked to have computer and internet access as the Buffalo Field Office will provide an update of its mapping efforts. BACKGROUND: The BLM has scheduled a teleconference for members of the media to receive information and ask questions on its decision to revise the Buffalo Resource Management Plan (RMP). The RMP is a planning effort to help the BLM succeed in its mission to manage public land for multiple uses. During the revision process, BLM reevaluates the various uses on public land and determine the appropriate policies that provide a balance of all the uses, including recreation, development, wildlife, sage-grouse, etc. - BLM -
