Studies of The Kansas Water Science Center
The USGS Kansas Water Science Center, Hydrologic Investigations Section, cooperatively works with a number of Federal, State and local governments to collect water-quantity and -quality data to describe the water resources in Kansas. These data are interpreted to assist with evaluation of flooding, watershed assessments, description of the transport of chemicals, and describe trends in water-quantity and quality in ground-water, streams, and reservoirs and the relation of these trends to watershed characteristics. Examples of the description of current studies and results are available in the left sidebar.
