Beyond looking "in-house" at their own communications, this insurance company is also inviting a number of organizations and individuals to join them in a statewide initiative. They asked me what other parts of the country have done or are doing on a big scale like this. Naturally, I thought folks on NIFL-Health might know. I'd like to hear what your state, region, or community is doing about health literacy and learn about the successes and struggles of this initiative. Of note, I am giving a presentation to this company on Saturday and so appreciate a quick turn-around with your answer. Please either tell us all by replying to this message or respond just to me at helen@healthliteracy.com. As always, thanks! ~Helen Helen Osborne M.Ed., OTR/L President: Health Literacy Consulting, http://www.healthliteracy.com Founder: Health Literacy Month, http://www.healthliteracymonth.org Author: "Health Literacy from A to Z," http://www.healthliteracy.com/books.html E-mail: Helen@healthliteracy.com Phone: 508-653-1199 31 Highland Street #201, Natick, MA 01760 Subscribe to the free "What's New" elist at www.healthliteracy.com
